Children from Year 3 went up
to Prudhoe High School where they took part in a tennis festival. The
children were fantastic and loved playing matches against other
children. They also competed in a range of skills activities. Click on

The children in Key Stage
were surprised by the news they could go and visit a veteran from World
War 2 at the Manors! When they got there they also met a lady who lived
in London during the war and a lady from Prudhoe who housed evacuees
from London. If this was not enough for them, they also got to meet
present day soldiers. What a great visit! To see photographs from the

Chronicle! Chronicle! The
children in Key Stage 2 recently attended a Media Session at the Evening
Chronicle offices in Newcastle where they designed, edited and printed
their own Front Pages. They learned how to keep to dead lines and how to
prepare a newspaper. Take a look at the young journalists in action by

Children in Key Stage 2 are
working with Prudhoe High School Sports Leaders to create a dance for a
festival later this term. They are having great fun and improving their
dance skills at the same time! Click on the star below to see the

The Year 4 children went
outside and wrote the name 'Adderlane' in the snow with their feet!

The New Year brought lots of
snow to Prudhoe! As part of our science topic we went outside and built
snowmen with Mr Thorogood!!!! We made a 'Snowbot' amongst other things.

What a fantastic time we had
during our Christmas Party with Key Stage 1! We met Santa, had a disco,
played games and even had time to fit in snacks!!!! Click on Santa below

Mrs Simpson taught some of
the children in KS2 a dance for the festival at Prudhoe High School.
With ribbons, flips and rolls the children put on a great show!

In Year 4 the children have
been learning about Playscripts and how to act. Over several lessons
they wrote their own plays and starred in their own productions of 'The

Some of the children in key
stage 2 recently took part in a Tag Rugby Festival at Prudhoe High
School with children from local schools. On a cold night, with plenty of
support from family and friends, they had a great time, learning new
skills and having fun!

Club had a great time learning to cook in the kitchen with Mrs Baird!
They have made a range of delicious food which has been served for lunch! Have

The children in Years 3
and 4 have been learning about Henry VIII in History and art. They
especially enjoyed the parts about Anne Boleyn and Kathryn Howard having

The children in Key Stage
2 are being taught how to play the Ocarina by a musician in class! Each
child has their own instrument which they are quickly getting used to
